All our bait boards are exclusively designed and made here in our workshop in Perth WA. Each bait board is fully moulded from fiberglass and fitted with top of the range stainless steel components.
Barry Bait Board
Barry is the original matriarch of the Oceanwhaler Bait Board family. Barry is designed to be very accommodating, shaped to fit the Oceanwhaler 565 to allow the engine to reach full tilt without interfering with the back of the bait board. At 810mm wide, 470mm deep and 100mm high, Barry is a middle weight in this division. Barry is a full moulded fiberglass bait board that will outlast all his plastic competition.
Barry, being the practical entertainer of the family, features two stainless steel rod holders, as well as two stainless steel drink holders. But Barry is not all show. Underneath his 520mmx340mm cutting board is an 80mm deep storage compartment to keep your bait out of the sun and your knives away from little fingers.
Mounting options range from removable stainless steel posts with spigots (pictured), and rail mount, to rod holder mount. Or for Oceanwhaler owners, there is a fiberglass mount system that can incorporate a tackle box or a live bait tank.
Bernard Bait Board
Bernard is Barry's more upmarket cousin and is more versatile in usage for other boat configurations. With a larger flat recessed work area and a recessed dish to hold hooks, sinkers or any other slippery little suckers that won't stay put. This can also be upgraded to a knife and utilities holder.
Bernard measures in at 750mm wide, 420mm deep and 90mm high, similar to his Oceanwhaler cousin. And also features a recessed compartment under the hinged cutting board, measuring 430mm x 217mm x 70mm as well as two stainless steel rod holders and drink holders.
